3.1 Non-Personal Data:

This information is used in an aggregate form to get a better understanding of how people use the website, e.g. which pages are most popular, which links people find most useful, etc. This helps us to improve the website and provide better information and support for those who use it. We also use cookies.

(a) If you register with Kingswood Computing for a newsletter you will be asked to provide personal data such as your e-mail address. The Company is relying on your consent (opt-in) as the legal basis for processing this data.

(b) If you complete the “call/email back” option on our website, you will be asked to provide personal data such as your name and email address. The Company is relying on legitimate interest as the legal basis for processing this data and will retain your details.

(c) If you complete the request for further information, you will be asked to provide further personal data such as your postal address and business type. The Company is relying on legitimate interest as the legal basis for processing this data and will retain your details.

(d) If you are using the Customer Portal on our website, you will be required to supply your Username and a Password. The Company is relying on legitimate interest as the legal basis for processing this data and will retain your details.

(e) If you are using the external payment link on our website, you should check the privacy statement on the Global Payments E-Commerce Platform (formerly known as Realex Payments) website, to ensure that your data is adequately protected.

4.3 We do transfer your data outside the EEA for online backup purposes. On occasions we may use MailChimp for email marketing. This company is based in the USA but is a member of the EU-US Privacy Shield, which is recognized by the EU as providing adequate safeguards for the transfer of personal data.
